Jonathan Chye | Oracle Order Management Business Analyst

Practical ERP solutions for complex manufacturing and finance environments

Based in Northamptonshire

Business Analyst specialising in Oracle E-Business Suite, with 15 years building systems for manufacturers and over a decade delivering ERP solutions. I focus on Order-to-Cash and the practical realities of running ERP change in live operations. My background spans Oracle EBS Order Management and Finance, with earlier hands-on work in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SQL-based reporting.

I work end to end: shaping requirements, running fit-gap, supporting configuration decisions, coordinating UAT, and stabilising solutions through cut-over and hyper-care. Most of my work is turning messy business requirements into system changes that hold up in production.

Core expertise

  • Order-to-Cash (O2C): order management, scheduling, fulfilment and invoicing in a build-to-order manufacturing environment
  • Oracle E-Business Suite: Order Management as functional SME, with supporting ownership of Inventory and Finance
  • EDI integration: onboarding customers and vendors to Oracle-based EDI workflows
  • ERP lifecycle: requirements, fit-gap, configuration support, UAT coordination, cut-over and hyper-care
  • Data assurance: SQL, SSRS and Power BI reporting that keeps information trustworthy and visible
  • Stakeholder facilitation: bridging finance, operations and IT to keep projects on schedule

What I’ve delivered

ERP Migration Core team member on a migration from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Oracle E-Business Suite R12, providing the EMEA and APAC business knowledge behind a smooth go-live. Six years on, I still own the post-implementation refinements in Order Management.
EDI Integration Lead EDI integration projects end to end, onboarding customers and vendors to Oracle-based EDI workflows. Delivered the first UK customer EDI integration and the first US customer migration. Now run EDI support covering global operations.
